Real CGPA Calculator is built with privacy as a fundamental architectural constraint. We do not collect, store, or transmit any academic details, course names, credit distributions, SGPAs, or cumulative scores that you input into the calculators.
All calculations are performed entirely in your browser. Your grade data remains strictly local and is never uploaded to any remote servers.
2. Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymised usage statistics such as page views, session duration, country of origin, and device type. This helps us understand how users interact with the tool and improve it over time.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising

4. Local Storage Persistence
To deliver a convenient user experience, we use your browser's LocalStorage to persist your last active grading configuration, grade mappings, and semester rows. This data never leaves your device.
You can completely wipe all saved grading configurations at any time by clearing your browser cache or using the "Clear Workspace" button inside the calculator settings panel.
5. State Share URLs
When you use the "Share" feature, the calculator compiles your workspace state into a compressed text parameter appended to the sharing URL. This payload is processed entirely client-side when the URL is loaded, and is not recorded in any database.
6. Cookies
We do not set any first-party cookies ourselves. Third-party services (Google Analytics and Google AdSense) may set their own cookies on your device. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for full details.
7. Children's Privacy
Since we do not collect any personal academic data, we comply fully with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and global privacy rules for students. Third-party services used on this site (Google Analytics, AdSense) operate under their own compliance frameworks.
